Thanks for the encouragement. Do you have any further information on the turbos being covered up until 85k miles? I don't recall that I've heard this before.

Here's a couple of DIYs for the water pump/thermostat. Costs around $550 for parts. I'll be attempting this repair Saturday. Mine died yesterday on the way to work (90k miles).
