Demos arent as bad as people make them seem. I used to work for a dealership selling vehicles and MOST people dont kick the shit out of the cars. There are your fews idiots, but for the most part not too many. The cars are maintained very well and there are discounts to be had on the vehicles. The longer the car has been a demo, the greater the discount. Dealerships amortize (depreciate) cars on their balance sheet just as they would any other asset they own. So every month they write down the value of the vehicle a certain amount. I would assume you could get anywhere from 5-10% discount over and above teh regular negotiated price.
