I think the M-Sport wheel is slightly thicker - at least it feels that way to me. I test drove an M-Sport and the car I collect tomorrow has the standard 'Sport' wheel which isn't nearly as nice as the 'ventilated grips' one.
I was given a link to an eBay dealer a few days ago who supplies the new M-Sport wheel as well as the forthcoming E92 M3 wheel - all original parts - and so I've ordered one.
