to be honest, it's not too difficult.
I did mine couple of weeks ago myself as my first diy project.
I bought mine at a local store and the guy came out to my car with a tape ruler and measured it out for me to see how much i would need. it came out to be 8 square feet. For me, it was 10$ per square foot. 8sqf was perfect size though it didnt leave much room for mistakes. It was the 3M cf wrap and personally I thought it was great material to work with. It IS not flexible to work with until you use a heatgun/hairdryer to heat it up. after heating it up, it becomes REALLY flexible and stretchy. and if you screw up, you can peel it and put it back on.
