N55: that's BS they said you "overloaded the socket holder". Unless they meant you physically bent it up or something, if it was overloaded the fuse would've blown. I accidently put a defective plug into mine and totally shorted it out, and all that happened was a blown fuse.
Short of physical distortion or broken wires, there's really nothing that can happen to a socket electrically.

Well they changed the fuse for sure, They brought the fuse over and chaged it out and tried. Then they came to the conclusion that the socket was burned up or something. Oh well, lol i'm glad I dont have that car anymore.
