To me, ricey-ness is something that sits on a spectrum and has a cumulative effect. In my mind, if I were to black out the windows, add some giant K&N and Magnaflow stickers, get colored rims and color-matched mirrors and paint the calipers, well then that'd be ricey to me.
I'm just looking to add a little touch of accent color to the gray. Besides, with stock rims, I doubt even the brightest red will stand out very well at all.
