Ok update. There's a place in SoCal called Canyon Autoparts that make valve guides for a number if applications including BMWs. They'll pretty much make anything if they have the proper dimentions. However, they don't sell directly to consumers. They do large scale sales to major warehouses that usually only do business with local shops. So I picked up my head and took it to another shop that said they could source the guides. So hopefully be done on Friday.

Just a word to others. It's not really expensive to rebuild the head. Just make sure your shop can replace any part in that head. I'm going on 3 weeks now without my car and this POS rental isn't exactly cheap.
