I have not done it myself yet, but I will be. It looks very easy as the car is already pre-wired for the alarm from the factory. Basically - you just need to attach a hood sensor, siren, and motion sensor but no wiring is needed. check out the DIY forum. After the install some people bring it too the dealer for 'activiation' (which may cost $100-150) though from what I can tell everything on the alarm will work when you install it yourself right away expect for the 'chirp' when you arm/disarm
