Yes, I did drive with them on the ring. The track was empty and my daughter is a big fan from playing GT5. So I figured what the heck, just take it slow. I turned the DTC completely off and hit the track. We were having a great time, had the track to ourselves, so I pushed it harder and harder every turn.

Then I lost it (I never really drove a RWD, I had Evos since 2003) and tried to correct it like I would my car. The bimmer doesn't act like my evo at all, overcorrected and tapped the wall, right in front of a photographer. He got 4 action shots of it. Not too much damage, replaced bumper cover and taillight.

I've sold both my Evos, now the garage only has RWD cars - my wife's 07 328i, my 01 boxster s, and the 11 335is. Haven't driven the 'Ring since the wall tap, but I do plan on trying it again, this time traction control on until I get the feel...and I promised my daughter another lap.
