I took delivery of my ordered '08 328i on November 7, 2007. To date, the pressure warning system has signaled no pressure loss in any of the tires. I'm unaccustomed to going so long without adding air to tires, but I realize that the thicker side walls of the run flats may slow pressure loss.

Am I missing something about how the BMW pressure monitoring system works and should I start adjusting air monthly (as I do for my other cars), or wait until the car tells me to do so? I've noticed no degradation of handling over the months that I've owned the car; it still feels perfect.
