ok so got the dvd update from BMW today for around £20. sent ******* payment for the code with my full VIN number. code came back within half hour. put first disk in (3 in total) and i asked for the code. put the 20 digit code i bought from ******* and now its updating via the first disk. painfully slow though!
if anyone needs a code or wants to update their sat nav, i can definately vouch for *******. he responds to emails very quickly and will give you a working code. he is quite well known on gpsunderground.com.
all i have to do now is wait 3 hours!
