Right now i'm using a hacked $15 OBD2 diagnostic cable (from Amazon) with my Macbook. Although this is temporary. My short-term plan is do be able to do it all through a handheld device like a iphone or ipod. The screen resolution and touch sensitivity on those devices are so good (maybe I'm a little biased
) that they can truly be substitute for a laptop when doing something as simple as map editing/flashing.
