I had 2 sets of 18" MV3s powder coated at a local place to me. £60 a wheel IIRC and the finish was lovely. OEM silver with just a slight sparkle in the sunlight.
They kerb just as easily as any other finish but as magic said above, they've stood up very well to the normal stone chips and brake dust corrosion.
