The 330d has a much more pleasant engine note - its more of a deep gruff rumble, whereas this 335d has a much more clattery diesel quality to it.
The coupe is a very different drive, the suspension seems to have a lot more give on the 330d saloon, I'm wondering if the bushes are a bit knackered. It may just be a function of age/mileage. The 330d has 50k miles on it and is a 2007 car whereas the 335d is a 60 plate with about 12k miles.
