IMHO, it will since this is BMW niche to combat Audi S5 (still in V8 form not the tunebale V6 super-charge ala S4), so BMW still need this is line to combat sale erotion.

Good points, but hard to know what BMW is going to do... I personally think N54 engine has more potential mechanically. Plus BMW has a reason for keeping it on the is model so far.
