Yes they will fit, the only difference between the H&R springs for the I and Xi is mainly the rake (which stays the same) and a hair of a difference with the weight.
I chose Eibach because of all of the positive reviews.

No the shocks shouldnt wear out that much faster. Don't believe all the vendor bullshit you read on this forum. Especially if they are pitching a product they are selling
