Okay, I was planning on wrapping the bulbs in a couple weatherproofing "balloons" (used to weatherproof small RF electronics), followed by some electrical tape and zip ties to seal them off. So looks like what I want to do should be more than adequate! Just have to be careful not to hit the foglight switch
