There are 4 bolts on each side. The bolts are one-time use, you'll need to replace any of them that you loosen.
If you were to remove the entire driveshaft you'd want to mark each side of it and the flanges with paint or a marker or something to align it correctly when you put it back. If you're only dropping one side, then it shouldn't be able to move anywhere. You might still mark it just to make sure the marks line up again when you put it back.
