After talking to the advisor at Stevens Creek BMW, whom quoted an oil change to be 180.00. I was stunned and went to the parts counter to see if the parts are really 90 bucks as they said.
Sure enough, these guys chaged me 7.95 a quart, and 18.38 a filter; buy two filters, get one free. in the end, I opened my wallet to the tune of 90 bucks for 6 quarts and three filters.
oh yeah. I believed the guy when he said I only needed 6 quarts. This is what I get for not doing my due diligence.
Today I found Mountain View BMW offering the 5w30 for 4.95. I stocked up enough for the remaining two oil changes.
