The ATT Rep told me for the same $30, I can also get unlimited calling to all mobiles...
No change in contracts, rate, minutes, data, etc.
by the next time iPhone is out, AT&T will change something again.
Remember how iPad got unlimited traffic just to have it slashed to 2gigs 2 months later?

I can pretty much guarantee that they will come up with some new plan where you would have to drop your unlimited data. Like switching to iPhone5, where an account with iPhone5 would be incompatible with unlimited data. Obviously an artificial restriction, but it will make them tons of money.
