No, an intake should not cause those codes. Unless your MAF was damaged in the install or came loose it is likely un related. Another possibility is something came loose and was sucked into the engine but it sounds more like an electrical issue to me. You could try disconnecting the battery to try and reset the system but I don't know if that will do anything.

I would suggest taking it to an Indy, dealer, or inspecting the intake yourself. There is no way I can see an intake causing a computer to read low pad life on the brakes.
