That's what I used to think when I got the car but I've gotten used them. I'm still on the runflats that came with the car (Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Tires Fronts 225/40R18 and Rears 255/35R18.) Do your tires still have decent tread left? I've noticed tires start looking uglier as the tread wears out.
