Was your car running rough, as if on 3 cylinders?

Also can highlight headgasket failure or an unseated valve.

If the engine is all put together now and running i cant see why you cant have it back.
No it was running on all four - not had any engine faults lights on ever - unlike the new normal 320i engine.

Maybe they have been instructed to bed in the engine - who knows. I'm not in a rush to get it back. I'm just intrigued at what has been done and the in's and outs of it all.

My pressure is good so far - unless they tell me they've blown the engine up when they started it (this has happened to a few colleagues who have had a new engine - non BMW cars btw!)
