i too am confused why the ryder cup is in wales in october.
I do the london - wales run every weekend. More often than not, as soon as you get over severn bridge into wales, it pisses it down. When travelling from wales to london, weather is better when you cross the bridge into england.
Newport is a stupid location for the ryder cup. As a welshman, it is embarrasing, especially given the 10 year build up.
