I think one of the key features of this unit, what makes it unique to the MS-8 and puts it into its own market is its size, its width is 50% less than the MS-8, and it’s also nearly 1" shallower. This means the unit can now fit in in one of the two trunk spaces where telematics control units go (if you have that space and want it to go there). So you can now have something like a HD600/4 on the left and on the right the PXA-H800 with no modifications to the trunk lid and it will sit flush, as far as I can see.
