Was it necessary to get to take out the bumper to install the bulbs. I have changed my bulbs a couple of times due to unsatisfactory colors but it was so easy but I didn't fully take out the mud flaps, just enough gap for me to reach in and switch the blubs.Couldn't you just take out the tires and take off the mud flap and then place the ballast on the side of the car to prevent access water?
