well who knows if this 825 watts peak or RMS...
avincar really is correct when he says wattage is all marketing, pardon me for getting a little too excited. Ever since high end car manufacturers introduced fiber optic systems (thus rendering aftermarket solutions useless) I have been a bit worried about my car audio experience. Now that OEM systems are giving similar specs for cheaper, I could not be more happy.
the beauty of the lexus ML in the Lexus IS system is that it is 300 watts RMS (which would in effect equal more than 800 watts peak). In the IS, we are looking at one inverted 8" driver to give us our bass, while the BMW relies on 2. Most wattage in any system will come from the sub, so it willo be interesting to break down the actual watts per channel as opposed to such an average.
Even if it is only adding more speakers and larger amp to the Logic 7, I am happy BMW is trying to make some progress... MORE BUMP!
