nice gig. For only 5 months of shooting you aren't doing too bad for yourself. I've been into photography now for about 7-8 years and taking it a lot more serious the last 2. I work at a camera shop and deal with a lot of pro's. It's pretty difficult to make it a full time job unless you have the right connections or land something like you did. My friend shot surf photos and videos for years just as a hobby and just recently got picked up by a major surfing sponsor. Now he flies all over the world following a sponsored surfer.
