So you think we'd be better off if every BMW was loaded, meaning people who didn't want certain features would still be forced to pay for it?
Let's be honest here, standard options are not free. The money a car manufacturer spends on adding standard options is money taken away from somewhere else. If you want certain options on a BMW, then check the right boxes, pay the extra money, and there you go. Yes, the BMW will more expensive than the equivalent version of other cars, but for certain buyers, that premium is justified.
