Update: 11/14/11
I received my updated AccessPORT with alpha firmware and instructions on uninstalling it from my car and subsequent steps on how to reinstall on my car. I followed the steps and it appears everything is working properly.
Cobb Tuning's cusomter service and RMA process was handled exceptionally well and I am pleased with the resolution. I'm glad everything is back in order and now I can focus on enjoying my new car for a few more weeks before the winter weather settles in.
