I'm attempting to remove the amber reflectors by covering with CF pieces I bought from Marc. While opening the headlights I didn't realize that the angel eye bulb must be removed from the back to allow access to unclip the angel eye stems before you remove the front lens from the headlight. Anyway, pulling the lens off, I broke the angel eye rings. They're just plastic so I superglued them with success. What I'm wondering is will they still emit light properly? The glue is clear so in theory it will conduct light the same. If not, is it possible to buy new rings only? Looking at Tischer it's just part of the headlight assembly and can't be purchased separately.
