good coat of wax in the fall, routine hand washes at the self wash stalls, you're good to go. it does get plenty crusty though, i commute 21 miles each way on the PA turnpike/rt. 1. gets ugly. i also keep a good coat of poorboy's wheal sealant on the wheels really helps with the brake dust
