That is the script I pulled together from the web to copy the DATEN files to their proper locations. AFAIK, it works flawlessly.
In order for it to work without modification on your end, download all the .rar files, and extract them to a folder on a hard drive on your computer (for this example, let's say D
, and put it in a folder called SP.
So your file structure would look like: D:/SP/[Daten folders here, so E89, RR1, etc.]
Run the .BAT file, and it will ask you for a drive where the files are located (in this example, D
and for a daten file set (if you want to code an E90, punch in E89.) I copied all of them so I can code any E code vehicle anywhere, any time, bar none.
*It's a huge file--almost 21 gigs, because it's not taking in to account that a lot of cars share the same module, and it has other components for other software programs. Sorry
