I admire your optimism but that isn’t always the case. My daughter had a car run into the side of hers on a roundabout a couple of years back, the driver & passenger made up a pack of lies about the circumstances which was believed by the insurance company, and she was held to be at fault – At the moment I’m in discussions with the police and my Insurance company because it has been alleged I was involved in an accident, which I wasn’t, but I’ve never the less been linked because I was in the area at the time, as confirmed by ANPR. So forgive my cynicism because, unfortunately this isn’t a utopian world & sometimes 2 + 2 really does work out at 5!!
