nobody knows what the future of our health care will be, the Canadian population is getting to big and to be able to maintain the same health care setup that we currently have. We are likely to see some privatisation to help alleviate some of the financial stresses on the government.

I think it's unfortunate. But if it's what we have to do, we have to do it.

I'm just hoping the same structure will still exist, but just have the health care opened up so that there are more private practices for people to be able to choose to pay for more immediate care instead of suffering long wait times and such. Time will tell.

or it will all colapse.

We also pay for our health care in the form of 13% sales tax on everything we buy in some of the provinces... (some are more lucky and have a lower tax)

it's bitter sweet.
