I can't remember what make tyres I had/have got however...
...find my '06' E90 330d M Sport (on 18s RFT) handles better than my '56' E92 335i SE (on 19s RTS).
The E90 inspires more confidence than the E92 did, is much flatter round corners/roundabouts at speed however, as mentioned before, is a much firmer ride overall.
The E92 SE had the M sport suspension as standard and, on it's 19s, I would have thought my experience would have been the other way around.
With only 6 months between each vehicle I can't imagine a massive amount of 'tweaking' - could the weight difference play such a large role???
