Eric,
No apologies needed for wanting to make sure your getting a good product.
Money does not grow on trees (unfortunately) When I said for years I was
talking about the 6hp19 units w3e have built for the b7 audi's. We have
built a few not monstrous powered bmw 's (420-480 hp) which yes i know is
not great but audi's have had more input on this unit than bmw (to me that
is)
The clutch material is 325 % the co-efficiency. The amount of clutches are
going to increase. Beefier snap rings, the pump gets the treatment to
bigger valves and stronger springs.
The valve body tuning is set to one way. Its increased pressures serve all
clutches to a certain pressure ase its needed (increse and decreased
through throttle positioning) so its really set one way but, it is
comfortable for daily driving and lots of enthused driving. I have a 900 hp
lightning that i drive in the spring and summer and believe me i know about
driving a tamed monster like yours.
The torque converter is an upgrade that is also set one way. The
transmission tcm and the way these things drive is super sensitive. So with
that in mind we upgrade the converter stator (more torque multipication
meaning more power) better use of your power band with out sacrificing
driveability. With power out put like yours a 500 rpm stall speed is added.
The clutch internally is upgraded, the bearings are upgraded...
Transmission is $4400
torque converter is $700
comes with a 6 months unlimited mileage warranty
Thank You
Sam
517 TRANS
That's the answers that I was hoping to hear. I'm gonna go for 517trans. I wonder if I should just ship the car there for some testing and get the complete deal done and worked out.
