not always true. I had sponsorships by companies back in the day that sold me parts below cost as long as I attended track days and car shows.
There's varying levels of sponsorships the best one of course is when you get parts 100% free.
As for Enjoix, I would promote the friend's shop, not nitto themselves if they're the ones that hooked him up (just making a point, not directing this towards enjoix)
