I'm just 34 years old, and I love the black headliner in my car.
In my opinion, this black headliner only looks NICE with Saddle brown (my color combo), Coral Red and Lemon Yellow leather, thanks to the resulting color contrast.
I agree that black leather with black headliner may be a bit too much black...
