Radiator FAN running at Full blast - Need help

Hi All,

I have a 2007 E92 with about 34K miles. From the past 2 days as soon as I start the car with 30 sec the radiator coolant FAN turns ON at full blast. I did not see the car go into LIMP mode or throw out any codes on the dash yet maybe because I did not drive much. After doing some research, I found the issue might be related any one of the below reasons.

1. water pump
2. thermostat
3. engine coolant temperature sensor
4. power distribution block

Now my question is, will the BMW faulty codes report if any of the above components has gone bad ? Reason being I found some forum members went and got their water pump replaced which did not resolve the issue and eventually it turned out be a power distribution block issue.

OR is there any simple way to check if water pump is dead.

Thanks!
