Crazy not to go once it's great fun
I've been 10 times with motorbikes mountain bikes and the car, the mountain road is fairly safe to let rip other parts of the isle are fine too just stay off the busy roads near Douglas and quite a it of the TT course is built up so take that slow, watch out for tractors and people pulling out of junctions and you should be fine. Go out early in the morning and the roads are empty if you really want to put your foot down.
