Oddly it's been fine today when starting in the cold (10 degrees C) so I will see how it is for a day or two. Clearly seems to be going though.
Kev I'll buy a second one so I can be safe in having it just in case. All depends on price etc but I'm comfortable that what I paid means I can sort the problem again (if need be) and if I should sell the car before the problem recurs, I'll sell it on for what I paid to help someone else out.
Personally, I've no interest in seeing anyone on here pay £300 to BMW to correct a recurring problem which they should long since have corrected. Fuck the man, man. They won't get a penny of me for diagnostics either.
