You really don't have to worry about that. Without exception, the other guys are serious petrolheads in pride and joys or other costly hardware who really don't want to crash either.

The marshalls / trackday organisers won't have any funny business either, you'll be black flagged if you're a risk to to others.

Overtaking is only allowed on straights when the slower driver has moved over / indicated.

No overtaking on braking zones or corners. No getting too close.

In a regular road car you will be the one being passed more often, but its not that busy. It means you back off on the straights a bit sometimes to let the faster cars past, no bad thing for your brakes.

If we're going to get a crowd it really needs to be a fairly central track like Bedford or Donnington, and both these track are great for beginners and the nervous with bags of run off.
