Well, you pay PST and GST, you pay 6.1% duty, ~$100 excise fee, whatever it costs to modify the car, then you're done. So about 20%+$700. On an 80k USD car (90k CAD) you'll pay about 15k CAD in taxes and fees all said and done. The Canadian price will probably be around 105k, when you add tax you'll save between 15-20k ROUGHLY, obviously it'll depend on pricing, but you get the idea. You lose your 4 years free maintenance.
A friend of mine just imported an SC430, because Lexus is retardedly lame and imports the car at a rate of 1.5 (that's right, its 66k USD and 94k CAD), he saved over $28,000 CAD.
So if it's worth it or not depends on the car, the msrp difference, and what your time is worth.
