Wow! Never realized there were such drastic facelift changes for the E46. Always only noticed the light trim and the bumpers, but never the hood.
What if we ask the question another way.
Has there ever been a model year change that also wasn't accompanied by some cosmetic changes? I really don't know, but it seems like there is always some change.
