I don't think you can just make a comparison to another turbo cars. The B5 S4's from what I know have had quite a few issues, but that's b/c of heat problems with K03 turbos that are in them. But the 1.8T engine with K03's in the A4's hasn't had the same issues. So there are so many factors, not just xx% more boost causes an increase in failures of xx%, but the whole package. Plus, with turbo cars, you have to be a lot more careful with proper warm up and cool down to not let the oil cake in the lines, which will cause premature turbo failure.
