You guys seriously have no idea about the workings of the parking brake do you? (Sorry, but it pisses me off a bit since the dealer loves to show their idiocy when it comes to brakes as well)

-The parking brake doesn't use brake fluid
-There will be nothing wrong with the rear brakes.
-The parking brake is a drum brake that is inside the rotor.
-You don't need an allignment.

If you take the rotors off, you will see the parking brake.
The worst thing that your wife did was wear out the parking brake pads or warp the inner side of the rotor.
This will do absolutely nothing with the workings of the rear brakes.
Please don't tell the dealer because they will tell you that you fried your rear pads/rotors (impossible) and that you will need to pay for it.
