Our 325 will pass 100k this month. We currently plan to keep the car as a primary driver for another 5 years/100k.

Times that the car has left us sit - 0
Major maintenance events - 0
Unexpected maintenance - 1 (DMTL pump)

Preventative maintenance - moderately aggressive fluid changes (see the various oil and fluid wars on this forum). Serpentine belt changed at 65k and battery changed in the spring, both because I wanted to change them on my terms. I also changed the spark plugs at 65k, but that was probably wasted effort.

And that is it.

What do you have to worry about at 47k? IMO nothing.

The only serious issue that seems to be coming up on the Internet is the water pump, but all things considered you probably don't need to worry about that for another 50k.

With regard to keeping the engine clean, just run high quality oil (any LL01 oil should do). Perhaps a bottle of Techron into the gas a tank or two before each oil change. I would not get creative in this area.
