I just bought a 328xi two weeks ago. USD 29,000 which was CAD 28,100 at the border.
BMW Toronto sales guy said he wouldn't sell that white/red car for less than 36-37,000. 6% duty on $28,000 is 1700.....so make that say, 6000-7,000 saved by buying in US.
And BMW dealers will match on new car pricing (also verified by personal experience) and IF they don't on used, then hey...it's your call if you wanna spend 6000-7000 more for the same car.
