I only got a few pics of the comparision to the factory intercooler.. I will post those as soon as I get a chance to host them.

I used this link as examples of the install - http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=346745

And this picture that I found on another thread (not my pic..) http://jpsimon.com/public_photo/335/...cutDiagram.jpg

The install went well. Took about 3 hours. I did the install by myself. I removed the front bumper and was very carefull when cutting the shroud. I cut the shroud with a dremel and a cut off wheel. I can easily reinstall stock IC and the area I trimmed wont even be seen. I had to trim about 3/4 inch off the bottom of the plastic shroud and that was it. Much less than I thought I would have to.

The IC itself is very nice. Endtanks are awesome. All fins looked perfect. IC fits very snuggly into place.

As a side note.... I think I may get a 3in 90 degree silicon hose and a 3in 90 degree alum pipe to make it 3in from IC to my 3in charge pipe. Then it would be 3in all the way from the IC intake to the throttle body.

Performance wise it def allows the car to breath more uptop. I did do a stock datalog but didnt get a chance to do a AMS datalog since the weather changed so much by the time I was done with the install. Hopefully I can get duplicate conditions this week and I can do a comparision datalog.

Overall I am happy with the intercooler. And even happier with the price I got from Mike! Thanks again Mike for the input and suggestions when trying to decide on a FMIC. I was/am very impressed with how you always responded within minutes of me emailing you questions.
